Stanisław Deńko

Architect, member of the Association of Polish Architets (SARP). Member of the Board of the Chamber of Architects of Republic of Poland, Małopolska District. For 30 years had been teaching at the Institute of Urban Studies and Spatial Planning of the Faculty of Architecture of the Krakow University of Technology. Since 1989 to 1993 was engaged by the College of Architecture at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, USA. Since 1989 to 1993 was the Head Architect for the City of Krakow and also took over the function of Director of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Krakow Municipal Office. Since 2004 has been teaching at the Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts of the Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Academy in Krakow. Awarded in many architectural competitions. Author and co-author of many projects, among others: Polish Embassy in New Delhi (India), Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Tadeusz Kantor Art Archive Centre – Cricoteka Museum in Krakow. In 2016 Stanisław Deńko received Honorary Award SARP 2016 for many years of outstanding work in the field of architecture and the charismatic activity in the field of teaching.

Piotr Kempf

Graduate of the Faculty of Forestry at the University of Agriculture in Krakow. For many years associated with the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture. From July 1, 2015, the Director of the Krakow Municipal Greenspace Authority in Krakow. From the beginning of his work at the office, he puts great emphasis on cooperation with residents. Listens to their needs and expectations, but also tries to involve them in activities related to green areas through a series of activities involving the residents. Open to innovations. As part of the new unit, he created, among others Green Conservation Team equipped with modern equipment, which is responsible for the care of the two oldest parks in Krakow. He introduced a new contract system with contractors responsible for maintaining green areas - "Maintain the standard". He surprises with new ideas, energy and a positive attitude to the world.

Piotr Lewicki

Architect, graduated from High School No. 5 in Kraków and the Architecture Department of the Cracow University of Technology (diploma in 1990, PhD 1999 in the specialty of urban design and physical planning). Professional license in architectural specialty since 2002. In the years 1992-99 he was employed at the Institute of Urban Design of the Cracow University of Technology, in the years 2003-2009 he led classes at the Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts of the Cracow University of Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski. Since 1988, he has been working continuously with Kazimierz Łatak.

Konrad Myślik

Writer and publicist
Writer and publicist. Spokesman for the Society of the Friends of the History and Monuments of Kraków (founded in 1896). For 25 years a associate of Radio Krakow and - Gazeta Wyborcza. Radio and television screenwriter (for, among others, RMF FM radio and Polish Television) and museum - for the salt mine in Bochnia, the Goetz Palace in Okocim or the Fire Museum in Żory. PR practitioner for 20 years. As a lecturer, he constantly cooperates with the National Archives in Krakow. Until recently, an employee of the Civil Service, Press officer for Polish Waters - the Regional Water Management Board in Krakow.

Marek Tarko

Małopolska Regional Chamber of Architects of the Republic of Poland
Chairman of the Chamber of Architects of Republic of Poland, Małopolska District. Architect and urban planner, graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at Cracow University of Technology. Since 1991 has been leading Tarko Design Office, working on projects of diverse scales and functions – from architectural detail through buildings and buildings` complexes to revitalisations of the public spaces. Granted in “Construction of the Year” Competition and mentioned in prestigious Stanisław Witkiewicz Competition of the Małopolskie Voivodship. Awarded with Silver and Gold Badge of the Chamber of Architects of Republic of Poland.

Tadeusz Zając

Institute of Nature Conservation, Polish Academy of Sciences
PhD, professor at IOP PAN, head of the Department of Ecosystem Protection. A graduate of the Jagiellonian University Faculty of Biology and Earth Sciences. Author of over 100 publications in the field of nature conservation (i.a. in Biological Review, Biological Conservation, Aquatic Conservation, STOTEN) and numerous implementation projects related to river ecology, i.a. protection of the ecological corridor of the Biała river (POIŚ), nature management in the Vistula valley (EEA Grants), restoration of wetlands of the Nida river (LIFE +), he also coordinates an international project on the conservation of freshwater fauna in 22 European countries (COST CA18239).
